Bettie Page Uncovers Ancient Alien Secrets

Bettie Page is back this March in a brand new adventure investigating invaders from outer space!

In Bettie's previous Dynamite tales, the queen of the pinups has taken on all kinds of surprising escapades via her only now declassified status as a special agent of the government. She's dealt with murder mysteries, werewolves, even Cthulhu-like beings. In her latest special one-shot she even tangled with Bigfoot. But now she's traveling to Roswell, New Mexico and around the world, meeting some classic grey aliens.

Fan-favorite writer, cosplayer, and PreviewsWorld host Ani-Mia returns for an extended take on the dark angel. She's joined by artist Celor (Hack/Slash, KISS), colorist Fara Nurmaliza, and letterer Carlos Mangual. Mia is a passionate devotee of cryptids and conspiracies, so this is a project with a fun touch for her.

"I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to not only write a Bettie Page series, but to bring some of my personal passions to the page," shared writer Ani-Mia. "The paranormal and the strange have always fascinated me, so bringing aliens to the world of Bettie Page was a given; but the real fun was making her adventure reminiscent of some of my favorite adventure movies growing up like, The Mummy and Indiana Jones."

Similar to those famous adventurers, Bettie will be trekking across the globe with her two new companions, investigating countless clues left behind by the aliens. Fans will get to journey along with her to the ruins of Ancient Greece, booby-trapped Egyptian tombs, and the deadly Aztec temples hidden within the rainforest. When she finally pieces it all together, will it spell the demise of humanity?

The book is paired with a crew of top tier cover artists to capture Bettie Page in all her glory. Comics pinup artist extraordinaire Joseph Michael Linsner leads the way. He's joined by Josh Burns, Stephane Roux, and Jimmy Broxton. Mia herself checks in on this front as well for a photo cover "cosplaying" the legend Bettie Page.

Abandoned Louisiana - The Pirate's Cove Water Park / Resort in Iowa

 About ten minutes east of the city of Lake Charles are the remains of an abandoned water park . The decaying structures are clearly visible from the busy I-10 freeway and for years drivers have wondered about it's history and why it was left for dead.   The Pirate's Cove Water Park actually has a rather interesting story behind it. A story that has been repeated over and over again, unfortunately, here in Louisiana. It's just another example of how government bureaucracy in this state killed an enterprise before it could ever get off the ground.
