Tanya Roberts Still Alive Despite Reports Says Publicist

Okay this is kinda weird. I was saddened to learn yesterday that actress Tanya Roberts had passed away. I follow the actress on Facebook and her publicist Mike Pingel posted this message:

I'm very sad to have to post this. Yes, Tanya passed away today. I'm heart broken. Mike Pingel

This morning I checked on my buddy Armand Vaquer's blog only to discover that she is actually alive:

The Tanya Roberts story just took a weird turn.

The Mirror (U.K.) reported:

Tanya Roberts is still alive, according to the rep who initially confirmed her death.

Mike Pingel told TMZ that Tanya's husband Lance discovered from the hospital she was staying in that she didn't die after all.

It was first reported that the James Bond star had died after collapsing at her home on Christmas Eve, before being rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where she was placed on a ventilator.

Pingel told the site that Tanya, 65, had passed away, but claims he got a call at 10am LA time on Monday to say that it was a mistake.

If this is the case, Ms. Roberts definitely needs a new publicist.
