Way back in 2013 our family took the ninety minute drive down to the beautiful seaside metropolis of San Diego to spend the day soaking in the sun and enjoying many of it's many attractions. What we ended up doing is spending the whole day at the world famous San Diego Zoo. Though we didn't get a chance to visit as many sites as we initially planned, the day at the zoo was a day well spent indeed.
