There is nothing quite like the visual splendor of the Las Vegas Strip. The eyes are treated from everything from throbbing neon to replicas of ancient artifacts. A one hour walk up The Strip at night can be nothing short of a sensory overload. There are lights, there are lights everywhere from the dazzling hotel marquees to the constant stream of car headlights. The Strip is indeed a living breathing entity.
On this night I decided to follow my usual route when visiting Las Vegas which means to park at The Luxor and hike up to Caesar's Palace. This gives me a chance to wander in and out of the hotels, casinos and shops on both sides of the street.
That's how I did it, however when I loaded the images into this post they went in descending order so visually we are going to travel backwards from Caesar's to the Luxor.
Caesar's Palace features classic Roman architecture and near perfect replicas of classic Roman statues wrapped around a thoroughly modern hotel, casino and amazing shopping center.
On the opposite end is The Luxor which a gigantic black pyramid which is a rue architectural marvel. Inside are all the comforts of a modern hotel and casino done in an ancient Egyptian theme.
Indeed King Tutankhamen would have been proud to stay here.
There is no other place on Earth where you can experience ancient Rome, Paris, Venice, New York City, a medieval castle and The Sphinx all in one evening?
So let's take a visual journey together and experience some of the amazing sites of the Las Vegas Strip at night.
