New Godzilla Minus One US Trailer Features More Monster Mayhem
Godzilla Minus One has made a record setting premiere in Japan this week raking in the most money of any Godzilla movie history. Meanwhile hare in the US Godzilla fans will have to wait another month see the film. I preparation for that release Toho has dropped the first trailer for the film on this side of the Pacific. The clip shows some more footage not seen in the Japanese trailers to date.

Godzilla Minus One is not connected to any previous Godzilla film and is rumored to be the first installment of a brand new cannon (if the film is a success and so far it is.).
In the final days of World War II, a small group of Japanese soldiers encounter a dinosaur-like creature on a remote island and are massacred—leaving only two survivors. Two years later, the creature, now many times its original size and capable of shooting thermonuclear breath, appears and begins attacking ships off the coast of Japan—moving ever closer to the still-devastated, post-war Japanese mainland.
So far reviewers from Japan use the word 'masterpiece' a lot so it is hard not to believe that this may be the best Godzilla film to date.
Godzilla Minus One opens December 1st in select theaters here in the United States.

It is apparent that this is indeed a remake of the original Godzilla film and this short clip is filled with many not so subtle clues. First is the sound of Godzilla's footsteps crashing down, which are the same sound effects from the opening of the original film. - READ MORE
