Stop being so goal-oriented and be more growth-oriented.
If you keep growing you will reach your goal, but if you set goals and don’t grow you will not reach them. If you hit your goal that you set without growing, you will not keep it.
We need to be both goal-oriented and growth-oriented. (1 Timothy 4:8-9, NIV, NCV, TEV) Everything rises and falls on our relationship and fellowship with God.
The priority over everything and everyone is seeking God first thing every morning. We all need to spend time with Jesus before we spend time with people.
What the Bible says about a matter settles the matter.
What the Bibles says about a matter is really the only thing that matters. When God has a word on the matter, it’s always for our good. It’s God’s Word that helps us become overcomers instead of being overcome! (1 John 1:4, NKJV; 1 John 5:3-5, NKJV)
