Welcome to Pastor James Greer's latest sermon, "Embracing Humility: Finding Joy and Fulfillment in Living a Selfless Life". In this session, we explore the transformative power of humility and selflessness and how these virtues lead to more fulfilling lives. He dives into the teachings of the Bible, exploring how God guides us to lead lives driven by love, peace, and generosity. Pastor James also talks about how pride can act as a barrier to true happiness and spiritual growth. Join us as we journey towards finding genuine joy in a humble and selfless life.
The best is yet to come in your values. (Ephesians 3:30, NKJV; Matthew 6:33-34, NKJV)
Allow God to be the main source of your life. Love and desire to use what God gives you to further His Kingdom. Saved people serve people; serving people are the most satisfied people.
Keys to have an exciting and fulfilling Christian life.
You have to lose your life to find it. (Matthew 16:25-26, NKJV) When you learn to lose your life, you give it to Jesus so you can truly find the abundant life. (Matthew 19:29-30, NKJV)
You can’t out give God. (Luke 6:38, NKJV; 2 Peter 3:8, NKJV) You have to pull down strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6, NKJV)
Believe and live out scripture. (Matthew 6:33-34, NKJV; Ephesians 3:20, NKJV)
Jesus is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think. The same power that raised Jesus from the grave now lives in the Christians’ life. (Romans 8:11, NLT2; Ephesians 1:18-20, NLT2; Ephesians 1:19-21, AMP)

Living a generous life is deeply rooted in the understanding that our time, resources, and abilities are not just for our own benefit, but for the enrichment of others. This principle is beautifully encapsulated in the words of Winston S. Churchill, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” Generosity is not merely about financial giving: it’s a broader philosophy that encompasses giving of oneself — time, attention, and care. It's about cultivating a spirit of abundance rather than scarcity, seeing life as an opportunity to enrich others. This perspective is life-changing, transforming every interaction and decision into a chance to positively impact another person’s life.
If you keep growing you will reach your goal, but if you set goals and don’t grow you will not reach them. If you hit your goal that you set without growing, you will not keep it.
