Who Was Red Hot Twenty Years Ago This Month - Harumi Nemoto
Last week I posted a feature on actress Scarlet Salem who was very popular about a decade ago. That post proved to be really well received so I decided to take a trip even further back in time to spotlight an actress who popular a mere twenty years ago. Yes way back in the early 2000s actress and model Harumi Nemoto graced the pages of my old Monster Island News website (pre blog) a numerous occasions. At that time I listed her as one of the hottest up and coming actresses even going as far as pinning the 'future star' moniker on her. Well here we are in 2022 and my prediction that Harumi's career would skyrocket simply didn't pan out. She actually stopped acting in 2007 and became a writer for Manga Life Magazine. I'm sure that many of my readers are pretty bummed out that Harumi stopped acting in modeling to pursue a career as a writer. As a public service I will post a few pics from her days as a model.
