Okay the video I'm about to share with you is down right weird.
If the video footage sent to the Cryptomundo website by Russian cryptozoologist Igor Burtsev is indeed genuine then a group of men may have captured a baby Almasty (Almas), the Soviet version of the Yeti or Abominable Snowman in the mountains of Azerbaijan. The creature in the footage is indeed alive, covered in really thick fur, has an ape-like face, large hands with dark fingernails and walks around on two legs.

Okay, I honestly don't know what that thing is.
For a quick history lesson, the Almasty or Almas is essentially the Russian version of Bigfoot. The only difference is that generally the Almasty is usually described as a primitive human being. There is a famous story in Russia about a female Almasty that wandered into a town and was captured. The creature actually mated with one of the locals (no, really) and mothered several children. If that story is indeed true than the creature in question had to be human.
It should be noted that other ape-like creatures like Bigfoot are also seen quite frequently in the former Soviet Union.
What we are looking at here is some kind of simian. In fact skeptics believe that what we see in the video is some sort of monkey with a costume on.
They may be right.
I love the take that Coast to Coast posted on their website:
Yeah, what happens when mother Bigfoot comes looking for her baby? That never ends well. Likewise, angry monkeys can tear your face off.
I bet you didn't think that one through did ya?
