Louisiana Through My Lens - A Field of Tickseed (Coreopsis) in Caddo Parish

A couple of weeks ago I was driving south from Shreveport towards Natchitoches when I spotted a beautiful field of yellow and red flowers just off the highway. The sight was so spectacular that I had to pull off the road and capture the scene with my camera.

These my be some rather simple looking images, but upon closer inspection it is hard not to see the natural beauty in this field of flowers.

I know that I generally spend a lot of time here posting images of abandoned locations and historical landmarks here in Louisiana, but I thought that it would be a good change of pace to post some images of the natural beauty that can be enjoyed here in the Pelican State.
