Easter Sacrifice - The Ultimate Meaning | Miracle Mindset

Image
Written By: Ken Hulsey Happy Easter, Brothers and Sisters As a Christian, the Easter holiday should provide people of faith time to reflect. Beyond the commercialization of the celebration of the day that our savior Jesus Christ arose from the dead, we should take time to reflect on the sacrifice that was made on our behalf.

Finding the Right Path in Life - Divine Wisdom & Guidance | Wisdom Seeker | Miracle Mindset

Image
By Ken Hulsey This morning, I revisited cherished photographs from a trip Terri and I took to Big Bear Lake. On that day, we savored a picnic lunch beside the serene waters and spent time exploring the surrounding trails. As you know, I rarely venture forth without my trusty camera, and that day was no exception – I captured several dozen images. One particular shot has always resonated with me, featuring a tree-lined path that resembles a tunnel, with light shining at the end. The scene struck me as profoundly spiritual, prompting me to search for a Bible verse that captured its essence. This is the passage the Lord led me to:

God's Promise of Protection - Divine Assurance | Christian Living Journal | Miracle Mindset

Image
By Ken Hulsey In 2021, I experienced a harrowing incident on my drive home from work. While navigating the highway in heavy rain, I hydroplaned and lost control of my car. However, I can say without hesitation that Jesus protected me through the entire ordeal. In the days that followed, many people remarked on how 'lucky' I was to have emerged unharmed. But I am here to profess that it was not mere luck - it was divine intervention.

Image
Photo and Article By: Ken Hulsey We all know that words can both encourage or destroy, likewise words can change opinions and are powerful enough to change and shape the course of human history. In around AD 30 Jesus Christ delivered the most powerful speech ever recorded to a large group of onlookers on the Korazim Plateau in northern Israel. In it Jesus taught the framework of God's new covenant with his people and laid the foundation for the Christian church.

Pastor James W Greer - Journey Church - Journey to the Light | In His Presence

The greatest gift is to live in God's power and presence. We have the privilege of witnessing Christ's power. Things happen as a result of His presence. Jesus came to bring us out of the darkness and into the light. The power of His presence is the greatest present of all. ( Luke 1:39-45, NKJV ) Jesus caused things to happen while in Mary’s womb; apart from Him she could not bring about miracles. Jesus being present in the room changes everything. Carry Jesus in your heart. The privilege of the present. ( Luke 1:43-45, NKJV ) Don’t let the question be “What can I get?” but “Why I am so privileged to receive such a gift as His Son?” Knowing God sent His Son as a gift for you should be bring joy. The purpose of the present. ( Luke 1:79, NKJV ) Jesus came to give us light and save us from darkness (Hell). ( John 1:4-5, ESV ) Victory over darkness. ( 2 Corinthians 2:14, NKJV ) Give others light and hope. ( Matthew 5:15-16, NKJV ; 1 Peter 2:12, NKJV ) Journey Church 2900 Donahue ...

Knowing the Will of God A lot of us say we want to know the will of God as an excuse not to be faithful and responsible. His written will: God entrusted this life to us, and it’s our job to live it, not to push the responsibility back on Him. I hear this all the time, “I just want to know: I’m waiting on the will of God.” It is usually an excuse to do nothing. What’s unfortunate is those people discount the will of God that is written — the Bible. It is full of His will for us. No exemptions: I believe we don’t want to do the obvious because too many are waiting to hear God tell us we are exempt from His word — very unfortunate. He will never say that. While we are waiting on God, we are to keep doing what we know to do. I may not know whether I should take this job or that one, but I do know to go to church, involve myself, support first the kingdom in every way. Just do it: The reason so many don’t ever get the direction they desire is that they are unwilling to do what God has alrea...

Christ-followers should become more intentional with their time and master’s “talents.”

I keep hearing Jesus' Parable of the Talents being preached a lot lately. Most Christians are familiar with the story, but what is it's meaning? For those of you who may not be familiar with the parable here it is from Bible Gateway: Matthew 25:14-30 The Parable of the Talents 14 “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants[ a ] and entrusted to them his property. 15 To one he gave five talents,[ b ] to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. 16 He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. 17 So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. 18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master's money. 19 Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered ...
