From The Rams Website:
Under the bright lights of prime time, the Rams (8-7) continued their playoff push with a 30-22 win over the Saints (7-8) Thursday night at SoFi Stadium.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 24 of 34 pass attempts for 328 yards and two touchdowns, his fifth-straight game with two or more passing touchdowns. Wide receiver Puka Nacua led L.A.'s receivers with 9 catches for 164 yards and one touchdown; Demarcus Robinson (6 catches for 82 yards) accounted for Stafford's other touchdown. Running back Kyren Williams added 22 carries for 104 yards and 1 touchdown as the Rams scored 28 or more points for the fifth-straight game.
Defensively, nose tackle Kobie Turner had one sack to reach 6.5 on the season, passing Kevin Carter (6) for second-most in a rookie season in franchise history.
From the Rams Wire:
After the Rams started the season 3-5, their playoff odds sat at 18%. That number dropped even further after their ugly Week 9 loss to the Packers at Lambeau Field.
It’s been a long climb back up the mountain, but the Rams are steadily improving their chances of playing after the regular season. That idea became even more likely after their 30-22 win over the Saints on Thursday night, their fifth victory in the last six weeks.
According to the New York Times, the Rams improved their playoff chances from 48% to 72% by beating the Saints. They remain in control of their own destiny, with wins in the next two weeks punching their ticket to the playoffs.
There are still a bunch of games to be played this weekend that can impact the Rams’ playoff odds, but none will have as big an impact as Thursday’s win did.

He didn’t catch another pass in the second half, but Robinson made his mark on the game in the first half alone. Whether it was a 32-yarder late in the second quarter to set up his own touchdown a few plays later or his 10-yard catch on third-and-4 earlier in the second quarter, Robinson made play after play.
Imagine if Nacua breaks that record and doesn't win Offensive Rookie of the Year, which is a very real (and even likely) possibility.
He's been by far the best rookie skill player and you could even argue what he's doing at wideout for the Rams is better than any rookie period. Sure, the Texans wouldn't be where they are today without Stroud, but neither would the Rams without Nacua.
There's still an outside chance Nacua could win it if he keeps up this pace and Stroud misses more time, but he's having a historic rookie season regardless -- and as a fifth-round pick.
Check Out:
This season Kyren Williams has shown that the Rams got a steal when they selected him in the 5th round of the 2022 NFL draft. On Sunday in Arizona Williams exploded for 204 yards from scrimmage as the Rams routed the Cardinals 37 - 14. The second year back out of Notre Dame sliced up the Cardinal defense both on the ground and through the air showcasing his speed and elusiveness.
At this time the Rams organization probably realizes that their 2020 rebrand has been a dismal failure. Back when the new logos and uniforms were introduced almost all fans and former players, namely Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson, were very vocal about their strong dislike of the designs. Here we are four seasons later and unfortunately a love for the new designs has never materialized. At this point most fans simply tolerate the look because it happens to be what the team wears every Sunday.
The Los Angeles Rams got one of the steals of the 2022 NFL Draft when they landed Safety Quentin Lake from UCLA in the sixth round. Seldom does history repeat itself in professional sports but the Rams also landed a starting caliber Safety in the sixth round of the 2020 draft when they selected Jordan Fuller out of Ohio State. Fuller quickly worked himself into the starting lineup and has been a solid player ever since. I predict that Lake will replace Taylor Rapp on the field by mid season.
