Louisiana Through My Lens - The Sun Rises On The Kansas City Southern

I was lucky enough to catch the Kansa City Southern north bound freight train as it approached and came to a stop just outside the Latanier Yard. The second locomotive turned out to be ES44AC #4859 that is painted in a heritage 'Safety First' theme. The cool thing about this locomotive is that one side is lettered in English and the other in Spanish. I just wish that 4859 was in the lead. It would made for a really cool set of photographs.

The sun had just risen over the treetops and illuminated the train in brilliant light as it emerged from the flora.
