Here is something I thought I would never post here, the words "ABBA" and "New Music" in the same sentence.
Way back in 1983 the Swedish super group ABBA called it quits when the two couples that formed the group went through a couple of nasty divorces. Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad all hated each other so much that they couldn't stand to be in the same room with each other.
Well here we are almost forty years later and apparently time has healed enough wounds for the the members of ABBA to burry the hatchet and record new music.
The band's latest single Don't Shut Me Down is really quite good and reminds me of the good old late 70s and early 80s when life was simple.
