New Mandalorian Posters And Teaser Trailer

If you are like me you have been counting down the days to the release of the second season of The Mandalorian on Disney+.

I've actually been counting down since the first season ended last fall. It's been a long countdown.

Here we are ten days out and Disney has released some cool character posters and a new trailer. 

In case you have been stuck on some deserted island or in a coma, The Mandalorian follows the story of a bounty hunter who has been charged with returning a Force wielding infant known as The Child back to an ancient race of wizards known as Jedi. To accomplish this Mando will need the help of ex Rebel drop trooper Cara Dune and ex bounty hunter agent Greef Karga who are the only people he trusts in the galaxy. Mando's quest will lead him to seek out fellow Mandalorian for assistance while trying to elude the forces of the former Empire lead by Moff Gideon. Mando is unaware that that the Jedi are aware of The Child and are watching his moves in secrecy.

That's some cool s--t!

Oh, and that's my synopsis not an official one ... feel free to share that because Disney's official synopsis isn't as cool.

Abandoned Louisiana - The Pirate's Cove Water Park / Resort in Iowa

 About ten minutes east of the city of Lake Charles are the remains of an abandoned water park . The decaying structures are clearly visible from the busy I-10 freeway and for years drivers have wondered about it's history and why it was left for dead.   The Pirate's Cove Water Park actually has a rather interesting story behind it. A story that has been repeated over and over again, unfortunately, here in Louisiana. It's just another example of how government bureaucracy in this state killed an enterprise before it could ever get off the ground. Construction on the park began in 2008 and it was scheduled to open sometime in 2010. The sprawling complex was envisioned as an oasis from the hot summer heat that would feature luxurious amenities like a 900 foot long lazy river, a giant splash pad for the kids and eventually a five star hotel.
