2022 is the 75th Anniversary of the Roswell Incident
What is the UFO Festival?
Was it an alien encounter, a weather balloon, or a flying saucer? The event known as the Roswell Incident quickly swept through the nation in 1947. The “UFO Capital of the World” is known internationally by UFO enthusiasts and deniers alike!
The City of Roswell is excited to open its doors to a worldwide audience for the 2022 Annual UFO Festival. This destination Festival will include plenty of immersive experiences, live music, local food, out of this world photo ops, as well as other family-friendly events happening all over the city.
Friday, July 1 | 1 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday, July 2 | 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Sunday, July 3 | 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Alien Crawl
Awesome Alien Crawl includes a visit to Farley’s, Black Cock Brewery and Pecos Flavors Winery & Bistro and leaves you at the Galaxy Cantina Beer Garden at the Convention Center.
Bad Alien Crawl includes a visit to Pasta Cafe, Peppers Bar and Grill, and Antigua’s Cocina Mexicana and leaves you at the Galaxy Cantina Beer Garden at the Convention Center.
The early crawls will leave the Convention Center at 10 a.m. and head back at 2 p.m.
The late crawls will leave the Convention Center at 3 p.m. and head back at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $50.00 per person, 21 and over only.
Join us during the UFO Festival in the Goddard Planetarium at the Roswell Museum (1011 N. Richardson Ave) as we combine legendary music with laser light visuals. Enjoy music hits from Queen, Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and more, all under the Planetarium’s 40-foot dome. New this year, relax and take in a retro sci-fi movie projected on the dome at 1 pm on Friday and Saturday.

Friday and Saturday night we will have a special guided stargazing event at Bottomless Lakes State Park to see and learn about the stars. Includes everything you need to view the stars. Parking will be at the Convention Center and a bus will take you out to the stargazing event. Tickets are $35.00 per person per night. 10 pm to 12 am
