Life is a complex web of experiences, emotions, and challenges that can often leave us feeling lost, confused, and searching for meaning. We go through our days with a sense that something is missing, a void that we can't quite fill no matter how hard we try. We yearn for love and connection, but it always seems just beyond our grasp, tantalizing us with its promise but never fully delivering. We carry the weight of our past mistakes and regrets, the things we've done that we're not proud of, that haunt us in the quiet moments. Our work feels unfulfilling, like we're meant for something more, something greater that would allow us to fully express our talents and passions. We put on a mask each day, hiding our true selves from the world, afraid that if people saw the real us, they would judge us, reject us, or even worse, confirm our deepest fears about ourselves. We long to belong, to be part of something bigger than ourselves, but the world can feel so cold, so indifferent to our pain. Life has a way of throwing curveballs, of putting obstacles in our path that we feel ill-equipped to handle, that threaten to overwhelm us at every turn. We know we need to make changes, to find a way to meet our needs and desires, but the path forward is unclear, shrouded in uncertainty. In the midst of all this darkness, though, there is a light, a spark of the divine that resides within each of us, waiting to be ignited. It is a light that has been there since the beginning of time, a part of the great cosmic dance that connects us all. We may have forgotten it, pushed it aside in our pursuit of worldly things, but it remains, steadfast and true, ready to guide us back to our true selves. This light goes by many names - God, the Holy Spirit, the Creator - but its essence is the same: a force of pure love and wisdom that can heal our wounds, dissolve our fears, and lead us to a life of purpose and joy. All we have to do is turn towards it, to open ourselves up to its presence, and to trust in its guidance. For in the end, it is this light that will lead us home, back to the truth of who we really are. - Ken Hulsey
