A trip on the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway
transports you above deep canyons and
breathtaking terrain a distance of 2.7
miles. See some of nature’s more

Operates year round.
The base elevation is 6,559. Peak elevation is 10,378, elevation climb is 3,819 feet, 2.7 miles and a 15 minute ride.
Tower one: elevation of 7,010 feet and 232 feet tall. Tower One leans at an 18 degree angle towards the city.
Tower two: elevation of 8,750 feet, and 80 feet tall.
There are two track cables and one haul cable.
On average the Tram makes 10,500 trips per year. Over 12 million people have been on the Tram
