Hickory Aviation Museum provides a unique opportunity for all generations to learn and appreciate aviation history. The Museum showcases an extensive flight line collection of military aircraft and a wide variety of artifacts and memorabilia from WWI to present day.
Situated along Lake Hickory,
Rotary-Geitner Park features an activity building, gazebo, paved bikeway, walking and nature trails, boat launch ramp, fishing pier, and restrooms.
Part of the Catawba River Chain of Lakes, Lake Hickory covers nearly 4,223 acres with 105 miles of shore line. From boating and jet skiing, to kayaking and fishing, Lake Hickory provides a natural playground for a number of water sports. Hickory's Riverwalk offers spectacular views of the lake from its elevated, overland trail and overwater bridge.
