This Is Venice California Today. It Was Once One Of The Most Beautiful Cities In America - Photo From The Carol and Kay Save The USA Website. |
As you know I listen to a lot of podcasts as I drive long distances for my job. I tend to gravitate to shows that feature news about my home state of California and my adopted state of New Mexico. I normally listen to the John and Ken Show, as you would know if you follow this blog, but to expand my listening buffet I chose today to listen to the Carol and Kay Save The USA podcast. Today's show was entitled '24 Hours Of Crime And Chaos In Southern California'. The content of the program focused on the insanity that happens in Los Angeles every day due to failed processive policies that have turned the once safe and beautiful City of Angeles into a dump inhabited by mentally ill and drug addicted homeless people who have destroyed it.
The city and it's suburbs are no longer safe and families now find themselves spending most of their lives now sheltering inside their homes scared of what is going on just outside their front door.
The podcast listed several disturbing events that happened near the two hosts homes between 8 PM Monday and 8 AM Tuesday (actually 12 hours not 24 hours). There were to homeless people who got into a knife fight in the parking lot of Whole Foods, a homeless person running through traffic on the freeway and other mayhem.
Host Kay Smythe shared her own personal story about how she intended to take a walk to a local store that didn't happen because of a mentally ill person wandering her neighborhood carrying a riffle.
When she did eventually venture out she was confronted by a disturbed man who jumped out of an alley and tried to get in fight with her. The ironic point of this encounter was that she was one the phone with her mother in the UK and had just told her that this was the first time she felt safe after being attacked by another lunatic a mere two years prior.
These stories are not unique to the residents of Los Angeles and it's suburbs.
Interestingly this issue has brought the citizens of the city, both liberal and conservative, together in one united cause. They all want the politicians who created this problem to be held responsible and ultimately recalled in favor of someone who will stand up and do what must be done.
At this time there are 64 recall petitions going on in California. Granted most of those focus on school board members (not surprising because California schools are crap) but there are some prominent names on the list including governor Gavin Newsom, Los Angels district attorney George Gascon and city counsel person Nithya Raman. You may wonder why Los Angels mayor Eric Garcetti has been spared? He is ultimately responsible for all this isn't he? Well at this time Garcetti has been tapped to be the next ambassador to India, so he's about to effectively bail out on the problems he created.
Good luck to you India.
I really find it interesting how the problems in California have united citizens on both the right and the left. I think that this is something that is going to start spreading across our country,
I was resistant to share the Carol and Kay Save The USA podcast due to the use of profane language, but I want people to hear it. To be honest the episode caused a red light to go off in my head. I actually cried tears of sadness and rage after listening to it.
Los Angeles is my home! A home that I was forced to leave because the policies of left wing idiots who have destroyed it.
That makes me so insanely angry. I had to leave MY HOME, the home that I love, because lunatics have taken over and destroyed it.
My only hope is that the people that live there, and didn't decide to vote with their feet and get out, rise up and recall the liberal morons that have ruined the greatest state in the union.
Give this a listen but be aware that there is some adult language ... which I actually kinda condone due to the fact that these two ladies are pissed off at what is happening in their city (my city):
