In my buildup to May the 4th, I have a real treat in store for you! Have you ever wondered what Star Wars could have been like if it was made in the 1950s? Well thanks to a YouTube channel called Abandoned Films, that features retro style movie trailers for films like Blade Runner, Transformers and Alien, we can get to catch a glimpse of what that may have looked like.
I honestly think that this may be one of the coolest things that I have ever seen!
See, AI can be used for good instead of world domination after all.
Abandoned Films has also produced a trailer for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace that is equally as awesome!
I only wish that the actual movie was that good.
I tried to look up some information about Abandoned Films so that I could give the people behind these great videos some kudos, but alas, it seems that they are content with working in anonymity, letting their work speak for itself.
